WHAT’S ON IN WEST END THIS SPRING
Every Saturday
West End Markets at Davies Park
Just 1km from The Lanes, you’ll find the iconic Davies Park Markets, offering a laid-back riverside vibe every Saturday morning. Dogs and shopping bags are a common sight as market stalls encircle Davies Park oval beneath the shade of fig trees.
Start with a chai tea near the Montague Road entrance, shop for fresh produce and unique goods, and enjoy a coffee from the organic cart. Feeling hungry? Try Japanese pancakes, African meatballs, tofu wraps, or hot bananas with toasted coconut and maple syrup. For other food options, head to the Nest courtyard in the Leagues clubhouse midway through the market. The markets are accessible by bike or foot via scenic river paths and the Kurilpa Bridge from the city.
