RIVERSIDE WEST END IS THE PLACE TO BE AS THE LANES NOW 80 PER CENT SOLD

West End is the place to be according to locals who continue to relocate within the suburb on a quest to find their dream luxury apartment.

Fast tracked to meet demand following the sell-out success of Pradella’s Enclave and Montague Markets projects, there are now limited residences remaining in stage one of The Lanes, Wave Residences, with plans for stage two to be released soon.

With construction of stage one now underway, future resident of The Lanes, Nikki Pilcher, has lived within two of Pradella’s Riverside West End projects, Light & Co and Montague Markets.

“My partner Lars and I love the location of The Lanes it’s right next door to where we live now, Montague Markets, so it was a no brainer,” she said.

“Being this close to Montague Markets and all the stores and services is invaluable. We don’t really need to rely on having a car. We just cannot fault the lifestyle here.”

Nikki and Lars are among a number of additional Riverside West End residents who will relocate from within the suburb to Pradella’s newest masterplanned community upon completion.

Leaving their large suburban block for West End in 2019, Anthony and Penny Mewing moved into a Skyhome in Enclave, Pradella’s project before The Lanes, in late-2022.

Their daughter also resides in Pradella’s Ferry Residences at Montague Markets.

“We love West End and Enclave is in a really good position,” Anthony said.

“Just about everything you need is within walking distance – coffee, shops, bars, restaurants and the bus. Our favourite thing to do is visit the West End Markets which is a short walk away,” he said.

It’s easy to see why West End locals are hanging around, with almost 400 apartments sold last year in the 4104 postcode (REA, 2023).

Also Enclave residents, Vicki Brandon said her and her husband, Michael, wouldn’t live anywhere else.

“Michael and I wanted to get out of the suburbs and we chose West End because of the lovely restaurants and facilities while also being close to city. We moved here in 2016 and in November last year, moved into our top floor apartment within the Enclave community, right on the river.”
