HITTING THE ROAD

With each apartment at The Lanes including at least one private parking space with some residences even featuring three or four, getting around on the road networks throughout West End and beyond is a breeze. Located on the lovely Tondara Lane, drivers can access Coronation Drive or the Riverside Expressway in a mere 2km, taking you anywhere you want to go whether it’s to the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba or the Gold Coast.

GOING BY WATER

From City Cats to City Hoppers, if you need to cross the river these wonderful public transport options run every 30 minutes between 5.30am and midnight, seven days a week. With a network that extends from the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus in the west to Hamilton’s Northshore in the east, jumping on board a City Cat is a convenient way to get around while also enjoying stunning views of Brisbane from the water. The best part is there’s a ferry terminal a short 800m walk away from The Lanes.

JUMPING ON THE BUS

Featuring an expansive network and convenient timetables, Brisbane’s bus network is a great option for the savvy commuter who likes to get to precisely where they want to go on time, every time. Brisbane City Council’s bus fleet is easy to spot with their signature yellow and blue  colouring. The entire fleet is also 100% air-conditioned and wheelchair and pram accessible. When leaving from Tondara Lane, head off on an easy 120m walk to the bus stop at Montague Markets along Montague and Ferry Roads, or take the short 271-metre walk to route 192 on Montague Road near Kurilpa Street. There is also route 60 on Montague Road near Victoria Street only 371 metres away. Wherever you’re off to, head to the Translink website and plan your journey for exact directions ahead of time.
